Dress Code

Attire – Profusion Performing Arts has a strict dress code for all students that enable the teacher to best see and evaluate each student. Each level has a required color. Leotards and tights should be worn without exception in every class! Jewelry and other items are a distraction to both the student and teacher and are not permitted in any class. Because of our increased visibility in a busy shopping area, and for their safety, all students must be properly attired in street clothing or cover-ups upon entering and exiting the studio.

PRESCHOOL / PRIMARY (3 yrs. Thru Kindergarten)
Ballet Pink Tights
Pink Ballet Shoes, Black Tap Shoes
Ballet Pink Leotards
Skirts (Ballet Pink)
Hair must be secured off the neck and away from face. (No ponytails)

BALLET PROGRAM

Ballet Pink Tights (must be worn in shoes.) NO Black or Tan tights in Ballet.

Pink Ballet Shoes

Level 1 & 2 Burgundy Short Sleeve Leotard

Level 3 & 4 Royal Blue Tank Leotard, Royal Bike Shorts

Levels 5 & 6 Black Tank Leotard, Black Bike Shorts

Level 7 & 8 Black Tank Leotard, Black Bike Shorts

Basic Ballet Class Black or Teal Leotard

Skirts or bike shorts matching leotard color are required in all levels.

NO cheer shorts under skirts.

Sports Bras must match the leotard in color. No extra straps should show. NO REGULAR BRA STRAPS.

Hair must be in a professional bun. (No ponytails, bangs or fly-aways in ballet class.)

JAZZ / TAP / LYRICAL / MODERN / SWING

Any Combination of Black or Teal Leotards are required in ALL classes. Black or Tan Tights are acceptable.

Black Capri’s, Jazz Pants or appropriate accessories for each dance discipline.

ONLY Black or Teal tanks or t-shirts.

Shoes appropriate to dance discipline.

NO JEANS!

HIP HOP

Any Color Leotard

Attire appropriate for Hip Hop NO color code.

Shoes appropriate to dance discipline.
